Sick sentences!

These sentences are ‘sick’ and need help to get better. Can you help?

It was a dark  day. The balloon went up into the sky and pop.
They crew were scared. Then crew were dead . Lots of people were crying.

Sentence challenge!

Can you write a sentence that uses two adjectives before a noun? Can you use a comma to separate the adjectives (because they are in a list)?

e.g. The beautiful,labeled big red balloon glided through the sky .

The Night Thieves

Every night, when the city sleeps, they come out of hiding. Their home is far below the city, and during the day when the city is alive with activity like a hive of busy bees they spend their time planning and plotting their next job.
